Semi-Permanent Eyelash Extensions are the hot new rage. They are becoming one of the must-have beauty treatments! Most celebrities are using them, Beyonce, Paris Hilton and Lucy Liu to name just a few. A lot of women use them permanently whereas some have them for a big night out or holiday.
Semi-Permanent Eyelash extension not only enhances the eye area by lengthening and thickening the natural lashes without the discomfort of continually applying false strip lashes but also it allows clients to go without mascara as the eyelashes look thick and lustrous.

Natural look and feel
I use lashes made of synthetic silk and therefore they are nearly weightless and really soft and made to look and feel like your very own. The lashes are so natural that no one will ever know the difference and they come in various thicknesses, colours and lengths and curvatures to beautifully blend with your own lashes. Once they are put in place the extensions will look like a longer and thicker version of your natural lashes. And because they have a natural curl you can throw away your eyelash curler.
Currently available colours of eyelash extensions: black, brown, blue and purple. Eyelash extensions are very light and comfortable on the eyes, they do not damage the natural eyelash which can be the case with traditional self applied false strip lashes.
Application of eyelash extensions
Individual eyelash extension is bonded and blended into your existing lashes one by one using a specially formulated bonding agent which dries soft, remains flexible and bouncy, and most important is does not damage the natural lashes.
Most women find having eyelash extensions done a relaxing experience. You will be comfortably reclined with your eyes closed and your bottom lashes protected while lashes are applied individually to your natural eyelashes. Application of the full set of eyelash extensions generally takes between 1.5 to 2 hours. This is a painless, relaxing treatment and I use moisturising under-eye pads or medical tape to give the eye area most comfort and protection.
Aftercare
Maintenance is not required if you choose to have eyelash extensions applied for a special occasion or a weekend. However, if you decide to keep them for a longer period of time then you need to take care of them to keep them at their best for up to two months. Semi-permanent eyelashes will gradually grow/fall out with your natural eyelashes as part of the normal hair growth cycle.
To keep your extensions in perfect condition I do recommend that you have infill treatments every two weeks. The procedure is so tranquil and comfortable that many clients fall asleep. Touch ups can be done in as little as 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Removal
Lashes can be removed easily and painlessly at any time by a technician using a specialist removal fluid. The natural lash will not be damaged by wearing or removing your extensions unless it are pulled out deliberately by someone not trained to take it out.
